To ensure optimal performance and smooth operation of our Scanpiii POS system, we recommend meeting the following technical requirements

High-Quality Internet Connection
Stable and Fast Wi-Fi
A reliable and high-performance Wi-Fi connection is essential for uninterrupted operation, especially in high-traffic environments.
High Bandwidth
Ensure you have sufficient bandwidth to support simultaneous connections from multiple devices. Don’t forget to check Wi-Fi coverage in outdoor areas to guarantee optimal reception.
Recommended Equipment
Samsung Tablets Active 5G/WLAN:
- 5G and Wi-Fi Connectivity: To avoid interruptions due to Wi-Fi failures, we recommend using tablets that are compatible with both 5G and Wi-Fi. In case of connection issues, the 5G network will take over to ensure the smooth operation of the Scanpiii system.
- Durability: These tablets are ideal for heavy use, even in demanding environments.
- 8-inch Screen: A format offering optimal visual comfort and battery life for extended use.
- NFC Chip: Enables quick management of contactless payments. Be sure to charge your tablets daily to ensure uninterrupted operation, including during updates.
- Recommended Quantity: Plan for a sufficient number of tablets based on the maximum number of people in service. It is recommended to have an extra tablet in reserve in case of breakage.
Latest Generation Epson Printers
- Reliability and Print Speed: These printers ensure efficient processing of receipts and invoices.
- Wi-Fi or Bluetooth Connectivity: Seamless integration with the Scanpiii system for simplified print management.
- Recommended Quantity: Calculate the number of printers based on production points (for example, one printer for the kitchen, one for the ground-floor bar, and one for the bar upstairs). In case of high traffic, we recommend having an additional printer for invoice printing.
Transaction Management
Tap on Mobile Technology with Worldline
We use Worldline’s Tap on Mobile technology for transactions. To do so, you will need to negotiate a standard contract with Worldline. If you wish to offer your customers the option to scan a QR code to view the menu, place an order, and pay directly, you will also need an e-commerce contract with Worldline.

Traditional Terminal
We recommend keeping a traditional payment terminal for customers who prefer not to use contactless payment or for transactions with American Express cards, which are not supported by the Tap on Mobile technology.
